It was great to see so many interested community members attend the Ignite launch on Thursday 25 October, 2018.
Held at the Whittlesea Tech School, attendees heard from the Ignite Program Partner, David Williamson, CEO of Melbourne Innovation Centre about the program and the broad range of events that will be held to fuel the local startup eco system in Whittlesea. The next 12 months will be jam packed with taster workshops, hackathons, pitch event and regular breakfast meetups with an entrepreneur.
The Ignite program will give you the confidence to move forward with their business ventures. For individuals that have a business idea/and or innovation, the Ignite program will help you understand and minimise the impact of obstacles and build the ability and capability to allow you to move forward in your business venture in a structured and supportive environment.
Visit www.ignitestartups.com.au for further information and register your details and keep up to date with events coming up.
Ignite has been made possible thanks to $89,7140 from LaunchVic, and injection of $12,400 by the City of Whittlesea and significant in-kind support by Melbourne Innovation Centre.
